If you’re following me on Facebook, you’ve already seen some of this. If not, you could, uh, go follow me I guess? If you want.
I’ll be completely honest, I’m not really after Facebook fame, but sometimes I post stuff on there that doesn’t make it to the blog, because Android’s Facebook app is much easier than WordPress’s for on-the-fly updates. (BUT I STILL LOVE YOU WP.)
Application status: Submitted!
But without further ado, now that Melting Mirror and I have cleared up whether we can post update shots or not about our Otakuthingies… PICS!*
Censorship cat is still at work though. She has grudgingly accepted the heatgun as a fact of life, and her ‘love’ of warm worbla has lead me to wonder if cat hair fibres in worbla can act like fibreglass.
Questions for the ages…
Absent: Cosplay Cat who was busy enjoying a sun spot on my couch.
These were taken last week, and while I didn’t get as much done as I’d wanted to this weekend, the main worbla-ing is almost done, which means I’m touching things up, smoothing out the bumps and edges with a heat tool then I’ll be filling in dents with bondo and starting the endless cycle of sand>gesso>sand>gesso>sand>prime>sand>prime>sand…
So much left to do!
* The reason I mentioned this was because of the WCSC rules about photo rights. I’ll do a Cosplay101 post about image rights and copyright issues this week to explain why it’s always best to err on the side of caution.
